Consultancy Opportunity at Glastonbury Abbey
Glastonbury Abbey is a monument, visitor attraction and church covering 36 acres. It is also a Registered Charity. The Abbey, like all businesses, has to comply with safety and health requirements. We have previously employed a consultant who visited us two or three times a year, for a three hour session at a time, where safety and health aspects are examined since the previous visit. The Abbey would also receive an update on new and upcoming legislation and how we might comply with it, together with a review of our risk assessments. This visit is typically accompanied by a site inspection. Our previous consultant was also on hand to provide emergency advice and assistance that might be required. We are now looking to engage a consultant on a similar basis, if you feel you could fulfil this role then please e-mail Francis Thyer in the first instance.
